If you’re gluten and dairy free like me, you know that eating out can sometimes feel more stressful than magical. But here’s the good news: Disney World is one of the BEST places for guests with food allergies and dietary needs.
They go above and beyond to make sure everyone — no matter what they can or can’t eat — gets to enjoy all the magic (and snacks!) during their trip.
Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite gluten and dairy free finds around Disney World, plus some tips to make dining even easier!
My Favorite Gluten and Dairy Free Snacks at Disney World:

- Gluten Free Churros at Nomad Lounge (Animal Kingdom)
I have tried a lot of gluten free treats at Disney World, and the gluten free churros at Nomad Lounge are the BEST. HANDS DOWN.
They’re warm, crispy, perfectly sweet, and come with dipping sauces that will make you wonder how they’re gluten free at all.
Nomad Lounge is a hidden gem near Pandora — and it’s absolutely worth a visit just for the churros alone! But if you go for the churros, stay for the vibes…this is my FAVORITE place to grab a table by the water and just soak in all the Disney magic.
*One thing to note though is that these are NOT dairy free and they can’t be made that way. Sad, I know but they are SO good I couldn’t NOT list them here.
- Dole Whip (Magic Kingdom and Beyond!)
Dole Whip is iconic for a reason — and good news: the classic pineapple Dole Whip is naturally dairy free and gluten free!
Just be cautious: the vanilla soft serve flavor (and some swirl options) are made with dairy, so always double check before ordering.
You can find pineapple Dole Whip at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom, and a few other locations around the parks and resorts.

- Mr. Kamal’s Seasoned Fries (Animal Kingdom)
Looking for a savory snack? The seasoned fries at Mr. Kamal’s in Animal Kingdom are gluten free and seriously addicting.
They’re crispy, flavorful, and come with some dipping sauces — but as always, double check about the sauces if you have multiple allergies!
- Disney Popcorn (All Parks)
Here’s a fun one: Disney’s regular popcorn (the kind from the carts) is both gluten and dairy free! It’s made with coconut and canola oils, not butter, making it safe and delicious snack you can grab on the go.
Pro tip: Buy the souvenir popcorn bucket – you can get discounted refills throughout your trip!
Honorable Mention: The blue and green milk in Hollywood Studios (Galaxy’s Edge) and the Night Blossom in Animal Kingdom. Both are naturally gluten and dairy free.

Disney’s Approach to Food Allergies: Why It’s So Great
One of the reasons I feel so confident eating at Disney is because they take food allergies seriously.
At sit-down restaurants (table service), you can always request to speak directly with the chef.
The chef will come to your table, walk you through the menu, suggest safe modifications, and sometimes even create custom meals just for you.
It takes so much stress off your plate (literally!) and lets you just relax and enjoy your experience.
Quick service locations also have allergy-friendly menus, and many will offer separate preparation areas for guests with allergies.
Just always be sure to let the Cast Member know about your allergy when you order, so they can flag it properly.
Extra Tips for Gluten and Dairy Free Dining at Disney
- Mark your allergies in advance: If you book dining reservations through the My Disney Experience app, you can add allergy notes when you book — it gives the kitchen a heads-up before you even arrive.
- Download the Disney app: Many quick service restaurants have mobile ordering. Look for the “Allergy-Friendly” sections of menus so you can order safely and easily!
- Be patient: During busy times, allergy orders might take a little longer because of extra care taken in the kitchen — but it’s worth the wait to stay safe!
- Stay updated: Disney occasionally changes suppliers or recipes, so something that was gluten free last year might not be this year. Always double-check.

Final Thoughts
Eating gluten and dairy free at Disney World is not only possible — it can be a total treat!
